Description
In this classic adventure story by Robert Louis Stevenson (1850-94), set during the time of the Jacobite rebellion, David Balfour is kidnapped to be carried away to the Americas after narrowly escaping being murdered by his Uncle Ebenezer.
He meets Alan Breck, the Jacobite, on board ship, but they are shipwrecked off the coast of Scotland. The two friends witness the murder of the ‘Red Fox and an adventurous journey across Scotland follows for David before he can make a claim to his rightful inheritance.
